Privacy

Who we are

PTown Today is operated by Bayberry Advisory LLC, Provincetown, Massachusetts. Questions about this policy or your data: contact@ptowntoday.com.

What we collect

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: the pages you view, the listings and dates you click, how fast pages load, your device and browser type, the site that referred you, and your approximate location (city level, derived from your IP address; Google Analytics does not store IP addresses).

There are no accounts or forms here. We never collect your name or email address.

Why

To learn which pages and listings are useful, and whether the site is fast enough.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies, _ga and one beginning _ga_, which last up to two years.

Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies are off. Google receives cookieless signals that it uses only for modelled, aggregate counts.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out: analytics cookies are off, the same as for visitors from the EEA.

Who processes it

Google processes this data as our service provider. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

How long we keep it

14 months, in Google Analytics and in our own export of it.

Opting out

Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or block cookies for this site in your browser settings.

Other sites

Listings link to venues' own websites, which have their own privacy policies.

What we don't do

We do not sell data.
